In the spirit of which, I share my
'Top 10' New Year's Resolutions:
* Always keep your words soft and
sweet, just in case you have to eat them.
* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.
* Accept the fact that It may be your sole purpose to serve as a
warning to others.
* Never buy a car you can't push.
* When everything's coming at you, you're in the wrong lane.
* The second mouse gets the cheese.
* A truly happy person is one who enjoys the scenery on a detour.
* Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once.
* Save the earth..... It's the only planet with chocolate !!!!
* Get up and dance.
All good advice... <grin>
Also highly recommended, share
your thoughts of support with the men and women who serve our nation
on the
USO "Thanks from Everywhere" map.
On a related-by-kinship subject,
under the extended heading of Bragging Rights, I pass along our
family update letter and this fabulous
greeting
from my 'middle' daughter, Shalom....

Smart Meters or Dumb Ideas? Are these
helpful devices that make energy cheaper, keep the gird safe and
make all the systems we rely on more secure? Or is this 'smart'
transfor-mation simply highly sophisticated 'social engineering'
being promulgated as 'for our own good' by a league of
multi-national energy and technology brokers who are up-playing
'consumer benefits' while plotting on taking us all to the
cleaners for billions in (their) profit?

Are laws on sex offenders supposed to

this special

if it's wrong.
Justice Stephen Breyer
Sitting jurist of the United States Supreme Court,
Justice Breyer makes it redundantly clear in this still topical 2006
interview that for the democratic principles codified by the U.S.
Constitution to ‘work’ citizens must be ‘involved.’

As several among you already know, my youngest son is
in the Navy.

He enlisted nearly two years ago on the delayed
entry program, spent months in training to prepare for bootcamp from
which he graduated late in October 2010 and is now stationed aboard
the USS Chancellorsville with the homeport of San Diego, California.
