So
you'd like a Website. Great! Let's get started...
1)
What do you want your Website to do?
HINT:
The two main reasons to have a Website are to share information
and to sell products or services.
2)
What do you want to put on your Website?
HINT:
The two primary elements of Website design are images and text.
Images include photos, graphics, clipart, backgrounds, borders, logos
and colors. Text is the stuff you are reading.
3)
Do you have text and images ready to post?
HINT:
Just about anything written, drawn, or photographed can be put on a
Website, however hand drawn artwork, other hard-copy materials, and
printed text must be "converted" to specific "file
formats" to be posted on the Web.
4)
Once your Website is built, how often will it be updated?
HINT:
Updating is the process of changing the images and text. Some Websites
are updated continuously. Some Websites are "static,"
once online they almost never change. Most Websites are updated somewhere
in between these two extremes.
